Garden maintenance for homes and rental properties

Keep your garden looking cared for without giving up your weekends. Regular visits or a seasonal tidy, whatever suits the garden and your budget.

Gardener mowing the lawn beside a neatly kept garden path

No time for the garden?

Gardens move fast in an Irish growing season. A few busy weeks and the grass is long, the beds are full of weeds and the hedge is creeping over the path.

For landlords and property managers, an untidy garden also means unhappy tenants and properties that look neglected between lets.

How we help

Garden maintenance is a mix of the regular jobs that keep a garden in shape: mowing and edging, weeding beds, trimming hedges and shrubs, deadheading and pruning, and clearing leaves in autumn.

We can set up regular visits (for example every two or four weeks through the growing season) or come out for a one-off tidy before an event, a sale or a new tenancy.

What's included

  • Grass cutting and edging
  • Weeding of beds, borders and paving
  • Hedge and shrub trimming
  • Pruning and deadheading
  • Leaf clearing in autumn
  • Removal or bagging of garden waste as agreed

Useful for

  • Busy households who want the garden kept tidy
  • Older homeowners who need a hand with heavier jobs
  • Landlords, letting agents and property managers
  • Preparing a house for sale
  • Holiday homes and empty properties

Before we start

Safety, access and permissions

Every site is different. These are the things that shape how a job is done — and what it costs.

  • We'll ask about anything we should know before starting: pets, children's play areas, delicate plants or areas to avoid.
  • Green waste: Whether green waste is taken away, chipped on site or left neatly for your brown bin depends on the job. We'll set this out clearly in your quote so there are no surprises.

The process

How the job works

  1. Step 1: Tell us about the garden

Rough size, what's in it, and how often you'd like visits.

  2. Step 2: Agree a plan

We suggest a visit schedule and confirm what's included each time.

  3. Step 3: Regular visits

The agreed jobs are done each visit, with seasonal extras as needed.

  4. Step 4: Always left tidy

Paths swept and clippings dealt with every visit.

FAQs

Garden maintenance: common questions

Do I need to sign up for regular visits?

No. Plenty of people book a one-off tidy-up or a few visits a year. Regular visits simply make it easier to keep on top of things.

Do I need to be at home?

Not usually, as long as we can get into the garden safely. We'll agree access arrangements in advance.

Do you look after rental properties?

Yes, we can work with landlords, letting agents and property managers. Tell us how many properties and how often, and we'll put a plan together.

Seasonal advice

When is the best time to cut hedges in Ireland?

Hedge cutting in Ireland comes with a few rules, mostly to protect nesting birds. Here's when to trim, when to hold off, and how often different hedges need cutting.
