Lawn care and grass cutting

A well-cut lawn makes the whole garden look cared for. We'll keep it mown, edged and in good shape through the growing season.

Grass that won't stop growing

Irish lawns can need cutting every week or two from spring to autumn. Miss a few cuts and it's long, patchy and hard work to get back under control.

How we help

We offer regular grass cutting with neat edges through the season, and one-off cuts for lawns that have got long.

We can also help with seasonal jobs such as scarifying moss and thatch, or reseeding thin patches.

What's included

  • Mowing to a suitable height for the season
  • Strimming and edging along beds and paths
  • Clearing of clippings from paths and driveways
  • Cutting back long or overgrown grass

Useful for

  • Regular cuts through spring, summer and early autumn
  • Rental and managed properties
  • Long grass after holidays or a vacant period
  • Getting a lawn back under control after a clearance

Before we start

Safety, access and permissions

Every site is different. These are the things that shape how a job is done — and what it costs.

  • Please clear toys, hoses and dog waste from the lawn before a visit where possible.
  • Green waste: Whether green waste is taken away, chipped on site or left neatly for your brown bin depends on the job. We'll set this out clearly in your quote so there are no surprises.

The process

How the job works

  1. Step 1: Tell us the size

A rough size or a photo, and how often you'd like it cut.

  2. Step 2: Agree a schedule

Weekly, fortnightly or one-off, whatever suits.

  3. Step 3: Cutting & edging

Lawn mowed and edges trimmed neatly.

  4. Step 4: Swept up

Clippings cleared from paths and patios.

Where we offer lawn care

We work across County Kildare, County Dublin and County Meath. Send us your Eircode or town and we'll confirm we can help.

FAQs

Lawn care: common questions

How often should my lawn be cut?

In the main growing season, usually every one to two weeks. Growth slows in late autumn and winter, when cuts can be far less frequent.

Can you cut very long grass?

Yes. Very long grass is usually brought down in stages so the lawn isn't scalped, then cut regularly after that.
